Developing websites is a passion project of mine, one that feeds into my love of continual learning.  Technology, platforms, algorithms change frequently, the ongoing support I provide to my clients allows me to continue that relationship way past the project end date.  Below are just some of my most recent projects.

Ipsum Counselling and Coaching

Jean Langford, head therapist of ICC wanted a site that would provide lots of information for her potential clients and allow them to have control over booking their own appointments. Such was the success of the site footfall, we later added a chat bot to her site too.

Gillian Killiner is a remarkable lady with an extensive, specialist background in dietary needs and gut health. Gillian wanted a clean and fresh look and one that allowed clients to download documents, make appointments and that looked amazing on mobile devices too!

Flight Hop

Jordan provided me with perhaps my biggest challenge to date. His bespoke site allows his clients to choose where they want to fly from and too and then finds the best prices available for that journey. We even went so far as to add a hotel section too - want to fly to Bali, want to find the best hotels. Do it here at Flight Hop, with just a few clicks!

Why use V.A.S?

There are lots of sites now that allow you to make your own website, so why chose us? Well, it’s simple.  V.A.S. creates the window to your business – do you have the know-how to keep it open?  One small error can result in the white screen of death and will cost you way more to fix than the few £££ you saved building it yourself in the first place!

Recently we were told ‘I’ve got YouTube and a Mac, i can make a website!’  My response was ‘do you use that same logic for fixing your boiler, for fixing your electrics, for fixing your car brakes?’  He didn’t listen.  It was a whole 3 months before I saw him again, this time to unravel plugin conflicts that had rendered his online shop, useless.

I am not bashing DIY websites.  In fact that’s where my passion for building began – my tool of choice is WordPress.  However, I invested a lot of time and money, in learning and support so that I know much more than the basics, this girl can code!

WP is more visited than Twitter
WP dominates Googles search results, accounting for 583,000,000 of sites found
WordPress powers 34% of the internet in 2019
If you count only the CMS-built sites, then about 60% of them are WordPress. The second most popular CMS is Joomla, with 6%
Over 400 million people visit WordPress sites each month
In 2016, nearly 118 billion words were published on WordPress
WordPress.org offers over 50,000 plugins

Because of the investment I made in the learning and  knowledge of code and my premium access to a network of WP specialists, I am best placed to to not only solve problems but also work towards making sure that issues don’t arise in the first place. Although I cannot guarantee that blips wont happen (I mean even the highest echalons of the worlds government have fallen foul) you can rest assured that you are in safe hands that will prioritise and work hard to resolve issues quickly.
